Imagine if the New York Dolls came from Birmingham and they all looked like Johnny Thunders! I'd see these guys busking in the subways in Birmingham on Saturday afternoons in the mid 80s and they played gigs at all the usual haunts such as the Barrel Organ in Digbeth, the Outrigger and Peacocks. I can't recall if I ever saw them at the old JBs in Dudley but I'm sure they must have played there too.
