Heard this a lot on the radio and saw the "Hey hey it's Saturday" performance when I was travelling around Australia in 1988. Never managed to get a copy unfortunately. Loads of other good music around at the time - Paul Kelly, Goanna, Midnight Oil...

I remember owning the CD for this in 1989. New years even 89 into 90 our house was broken into. Everything taken (including this CD). My parents collected the insurance but never gave me money to replace my parts of the collection. twenty plus years later am getting a great kick out of listening to this again. Would pay for a copy of Hippocracy if avail. But all I can find online is torrent sites. Anyone know where to buy a copy

I brought the tape back in about 1989 while in Auzzie. Played it heaps early 90's. Loved it. Found it again last week as my 2002 5.7 Holdstang has a tape deck. Still as good as I remember.. Very.. very .. under-rated. Scoon loved it.. Wayne. New Zealand.. Hippos.. Hippocracy . Hippos Management contact [ 02 ] 8184948 Australia.. At a guess. This was found on the tape inlay..

I think I've been searching for this song for 20 years. In fact it is the last on my list to add to my library. I could remember it was in the late 80s, a Sydney band, there was a sax, but for the life of me I could remember the band or title, or any of the lyrics. I'd given up looking after lucking out describing on several cites seeking help. Just encountered it last night while reliving memories from the Sydney pub rock scene of the 80s.

Great to see John Power on the bass, man those were the days, wish I could see them for one more performance in Narooma, but heck stuck here in North America we just don't see that type of class act.
