I wondered how an all-girl band was going to do the lyrics of this song - and it was an easy switch for them to make "Little Latin Lupe Lu" into a boy. Although Lupe is an odd name for a boy, yes?

The lineup is listed as: Linda Sanders (drums, vocals) Debbie Sanders (guitar) Jeannie Foster (guitar, vocals, keyboards) Debbie McMellan (bass) In the picture in this video the two Debbies have for whatever reason switched instruments. I have seen one photo of them, probably taken a few years after this one, showing them as a trio with Jeanie playing the bass.
