Actually there's another recorded version done by Richie and John live at the Summer Harvest Crusade at Anaheim Stadium in 1992 and released on a Songs of the Harvest cd (out of print). I personally it's also the best version.

I like this version of the song because of the variety of singers and because the women sing the melody. To me, it sounds beautiful when women sing in this vocal range! I love that!
