Man, this is just fucking weak. If you are going to experiment at least make it technically or dynamically interesting. This is just easy to write/ easy to play pop metal bollocks. I used to love Peter Dolving but his return for revolver really heralded the end for this band.

being a huge fan of theirs since revolver, then the whole back catalog, i wasn't really "finished" with versus when this one came out. my initial reaction was "wow. crap. they sold out and became like slipknot and korn. radio-friendly just on the sell-out side of the line." and i was pretty pissed. what's funny is how solid this disc is. it's like they looked at all that weaker-than metal and went "HERE. THIS is how you do it." lesson learned i hope.
