the GazettE (ガゼット, Gazette?, the GazettE) is a Japanese visual kei band, formed on 2 March 10, 2002 and that today is part of the Sony Music label and Ps Company, the same company responsible for artists like Miyavi (He left in 2010) Alice Nine, Kra, Kagrra (extinct), ViViD, SuG (left), SCREW, BORN, D = OUT... initially had Ruki (vocals), Uruha (guitar), Aoi (guitar), Reita (bass) and Yune (drums). The first single released was Wakaremichi 1 on April 30, 2002 by Matina label. On January 21, 2003, Yune decided to leave the band. It was not long until they find another drummer for the band. Kai joins the Gazette on 1 February 2003. A month later, they signed with the PS Company. In the same year The Gazette toured and participated in events for the rest of the year, as the event Beauti-Fool's Fest 2003, which was attended by artists such as Merry and D'espairsRay.
