While this album is amazing, i wouldn't bother with the second one if i were you. The vocals style of that album (Almost a dance) do not match its musical style. Even the band considers it a failure. It's the price of creative innovation i guess :) By the way, two songs from this first album (The Mirror Waters and Stonegarden) were "remade" with Anneke as vocalist on the 2004 album "Sleepy Buildings".

They're just a band that can change their style completely from album to album. Their third album was the first with Anneke on vocals and even that sounds vastly different from the material the band makes today. My personal favorite albums are Always, Mandylion, Nighttime Birds, If Then Else and their live album Superheat.
