Hailing from New Jersey, United States, acoustic-dance-indie-punk band The Front Bottoms, were kind enough to record an acoustic version of 'Twin Sized Mattress' and 'Au Revoir' for us at Hit The Deck in Nottingham this year.

'Twin Sized Mattress' is the first publicly released track from their new album 'Talon of the Hawk', which will be released on Bar/None Records on June 3rd. It embodies everything that made the guys such breakthrough artists - the surreal lyrics, front man Brian Sella's obtuse phrasing and the fascinatingly intricate guitar melodies, as well as Matt Uychich's confident drumming.

Snarky send-off 'Au Revoir (Adios)' is the first track on the album, and it is evident that 'Talon of the Hawk' isn't a departure at all, but an extension of their last record.

"It's hard to say how much The Front Bottoms means to us," they both say. "It has become so much of a lifestyle at this point. It's not our jobs, hobbies, nor our obligation. It's just who we are."
