Geez, I remember either my mom or dad buying this 45 for 5 cents at the Salvation Army around 1965. I remembered the chorus (it sticks in your head and doesn't go away), and I remembered the song title, and that it was on the Cadence label, but only after searching on the net recently did I finally find out the group's name (because that 5 cent 45 disappeared long ago). I guess it would sound kinda cornball in an outdated way to younger generations, but it's hard to get it out of my memory!

Many thanks for this. The Four Top Hatters (although their group name may sound silly to us nowadays) had a great rockin´ sound. They also did the original version of "Dim, Dim The Lights" (soon covered by Bill Haley & His Comets to become a Haley classic and a big hit), which got a very good review in Billboard in the autumn of 1954.
