One of the biggest hassles of being deployed but this been around for a long time,every time there's been a war on.some poor serviceman gets dumped for someone else,even today.

Sorry to hear that Taffycat. I feel you. But, I was just a little to young to be drafted at that time period. So, in that situation on being overseas and not being able to do a thing about your relationship must have really been harder. Glad you got over it. :D

There were bad feeling when I heard this song as I was drafted and my girlfriend at the time had just broken up with me. Here I was over in Korea and all I could think about was her and wondering what see was doing. Being young had it's hard moments along with the good. Just happy I got over it. Life goes on and so does the wonderful music from the time.
