I think this song was one of the 4 Seasons releases when they were still under contract with VeeJay records and had also signed with Phillips. During '63 - '64 , they were on the charts with several Hits at a time!

It was the early 1963 and was on the LP "Ain't That a Shame" (Vee Jay Label). Some of the more recognizable songs from the album were "Candy Girl", "Marlena", "Soon (I'll Be Home Again)" and a decent cover of Maurice Williams' "Stay".
