The ever-fabulous Flirtations, Earn'ee, Shirley and Vie (aka Pearly Gates) return with a brandnew single Roulette - and don't they just look more glamourous than ever! It seems impossible to believe that their career has spanned a stunning 45 years, yet it is true. While their early tracks 'Jerk It', 'It's A Woman's World', 'Nothing But A Heartache', 'Someone Out There', 'Can't Stop Loving You' and 'Little Darling' have become longlasting much-loved classics on the soul scene, The Flirtations are also famous for their Hi-NRG classic 'Earthquake' (1983) and that kind of vibrant dance track is exactly what I attempted to recreate with our track 'Roulette' which we recorded with the late Clive Scott at his Racetrack studios in Ascot, back in January 2009. It was a dream come true for me to work with a girl group of this calibre and I must say the end result went beyond my expectations. Much to my delight, I was contacted by superfans Darren & Tom Harvey-Beswick who were tremendously excited by the track and offered me to help put a video together for it for which I am most grateful. The two gentlemen star with me as extras in the video, and we have more exciting projects in the pipeline for you!

Finally late April, we shot the video at The Mount Hotel in Wolverhampton, a glorious experience thanks to everyone who was involved in making it happen, although it was mixed with tremendous sadness of knowing that Clive Scott had just suffered a terrible accident, falling from a ladder, just the day before, only to pass away on May 11, 2009.
