This is a stunningly good song. My friend happened upon this track about ten years ago on Garageband (not the Apple software, the old music upload/review music site). We both freaked out then, and we are still talking about this track to this day. The reason I'm commenting here is because he found this video and shared the link on Facebook.The lyrics here are as good as they get, and the mood of the song across the board works perfectly. Great stuff. I'm curious to know more about this guy. This is the only song of his I've ever heard.

I don't have the full album. I took this from the mp3 on whiskey and apples site. It's still on there, there just isn't a link to it. You can find it on google. Don't ask me how, it was a while ago and I don't remember. This should be the same version that was on escape pod.

I first heard this on Escape Pod as well and looked for a long time for this version which is also my favorite. I love this song. Red is a master.

@Rhiorrha -- The second one, with 2 males and a female, as well as different instruments. No offense to this version, but the one with the female version just sounds more... complete. Probably just because that is the first version that I heard. Would LOVE to have the mp3 of the album version.

@igwiz69 Are you referring to the same version that was also used on the story "Cloud Dragon Skies", or are you referring to the album version that also includes a female vocalist along with the 2 males, as well as different instruments? I have both versions in mp3 format.

Wish I could find the version of this song that used to be in mp3 format on the Whiskey and Apples site. It was the version I first heard, used as end of show music on Escape Pod's episode 155, "Tideline," by Elizabeth Bear.
