I was at this. Pissed down all day. Outlawsuk is right, REM were absolutely slaughtered, had to feel for 'em. Faith Brothers had some great tunes. They should have been much bigger than they were. Dr & The Medics definitely weren't there. SOD were good. Enjoyed The Ramones.

Dr & the Medics weren't at The Longest Day! It rained!! The Faith Brother opened the show well. Spear of Destiny were fantastic! Billy Bragg was out of place. The Ramones sang 1,2,3,4..........noise!! REM got slaughtered. Totally slaughtered! Bottled off stage. U2 were the gods. This was their concert. Bono got the girl up on stage in the middle of "Bad" just as he did a month later at Live Aid. Unforgettable Fire tour. Unforgettable Day!!

I was at Milton Keynes (Longest day) The Faith brothers were superb. Thought u2 were great also as were Spear of Destiny and the Ramones. Billy Bragg did his bit and I seem to remember Dr and the medics played also?

I was at Milton Keynes as well. Didn't it fuckin rain that day!!! The Ramones and REM were fantastic, enjoyed the Faith Brothers too (it wasn't raining by that point) SOD were as wank as ever but Billy Bragg kept everyone amused through the downpour. U2? Waste of fuckin' money. Glad I never went to watch them again.
