Brilliant, clean sound. Of course, at the time, no-one called pop groups, 'bands' - that term entered the lexicon of rock music in the 1970s. They were all 'groups'. Similarly, the retroactive terms, 'punk' and 'garage' in relation to some 1960s pop groups emerged only in the early 1980s, partly, I think, to render perceived 'street' credibility to these 1960s groups, as post-1977, unfortunately, everything about the 1960s had become unfashionable. Brilliant song!

I really love the sound from the mid 60s and The Eyes. It´s a kind of raw, honest and unique sound without samples and overdubs. Only a couple of mic:s and then count to four. I get the same feeling when I listen to a band from Scandinavia - THE ZETLERS. Check up their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". the recordings were made 1965. Simply irresistible f.....g good with a bloody drive.
