Heavily influenced by fellow Californian bands Sublime and Slightly Stoopid, Santa Cruz's own The Expendables have made a career off of laid back beats and some lengthy touring schedules.

Combining reggae, punk rock, surf, ska, and more, The Expendables have stuck together with the glue that is long-term friendship. Geoff Weers (Guitar and Vocals), Adam Patterson (Drums and Vocals), Raul Bianchi (Lead Guitar) and Ryan DeMars (Bass) cranked out three full-length albums from 1997 to 2004.
