Bob Lewis was on the air on the weekends as I remember, 1010 WINS from NYC. This was his theme song as another poster wrote below. Thanks for the memories of those wonderful days.

Yes, the war that old men make to kill the young ones taught us nothing; we continue to fight foolish, killing wars. Had I been born male, I probably would have been over there, my fate, unknown. When we hear the music we get to go back to the simpler, more pleasurable times. Because we were different then too, it seems like heaven when the music plays, and we're transported back to what the world once was, and who we were as well!
