most good bands after 85 exist because of the cure,the chameleons, joy divison,cocteau twins or many other bands i left out if the essence had a girl singer the cure comparisons would be way less so why hate them because they have a singer that sounds like robert in 82 they are a realy great band on their own i would put eccstacy and purity above many cure records for what its worth but why compare they are both great music which is hard to come by these days just listen and enjoy

@evalentin28 Well I have 3 cds of their work, (one being 2 albums on one disc) If you are in the UK you can probably still get them from Cherry Red Records, as well as others albums by them.

the best albums to check out are: Nothing Lasts Forever and Ecstasy... Later stuff not so great...but a couple good tracks off of Glow So what that they sound like The Cure?
