Been loading up all my Romantics material and was doing some refreshing and updating on the history of the band and discovered Wally'd started up this band with some other greats of rock. Got that Romantics sound. Given the state of pop/rock in these autotuned DJ technoed rap/hip hop world I guess it comes down to the older guys like these, McCartney, the Stones, the remaining members of AC/DC and a few others to keep real music alive for just a little longer until a new generation comes along that will bring back real music through their own hands. Great music, fellas. Just grabbed a new fan.

In 2014, McLagan was a founding member of The Empty Hearts. The group recorded on 429 Records and McLagan's bandmates included Blondie drummer Clem Burke, The Chesterfield Kings bassist Andy BabCalifornia, The Cars guitarist Elliot Easton, and The Romantics guitarist and vocalist Wally Palmar.[5] The band's self-titled first album was released 5 August 2014 and produced by Ed Stasium.
