seen the Dufay Collective several times IMO that are by far the best proponents of medieval music nothing very dirgey about this real 12th century head banger music

@MushroomedAnymore Thanks for the comment. This "rawness" is precisely what I like about The Dufay Collection. Philip Pickett of the New London Consort achieves it at times...perhaps he gets his "soul" from his distant relation, Wilson. I like another Dufay saltarello that I posted even more ("Saltarello No. 2)...scroll down in "Info" for the link).
