2:07 - 2:24 that's what i love about The Dreaming & Stabbing Westward they get the combination off depressing lyrics and...well depressing guitars too just so perfect my favourite Stabbing Westward - Waking Up Beside You for best example

Are u serious?? First off Flood worked with DM and NIN at the beginning of nin... trent worked with pigface.... they all influence each other... DM's last few records have sucked and bombed..Ive seen SW about 7 times interviewed Chris a few times for a cable show and he told me he always thought it was ridiculous how they were always compared to nin cuz he didnt see a resemblance... also Andy Kubiszewski who played in SW also had a band the exotic birds which trent and vrenna were in..

agreed! trent Reznor ripped off every industrial artists sound. He has created nothing original. J.G. Thirlwell, Pigface, Coil, Skinny Puppy, Depeche Mode, come on! I was a NIN fan for my entire life untill I started listening to these artists. the list goes on.

The answer? Greedy, shitty record labels. /the end

WTF? Reznor created pop/industrial? Whatever. Skinny Puppy helped Reznor. So, therefore...Skinny Puppy>nin

I'm so glad they're still around--I met them at a show in Raleigh, NC years ago, and was astonished at how small the crowd was. There like thirty people there, including the opening band and all the people working at the bar. It just didn't seem right that their music rocks so hard and so few people know about it, and I told them so. Here's hoping this is a sign of good things to come.

Chris Hall is legendary .. I used to love Stabbing Westward but I loved NIN more, I remember being so conflicted when him and Trent had their falling out and NIN kicked them off of the tour for ripping off their sound.. they were too NIN like in Trent's opinion.. there could be some truth to that but you can't deny that Chris has some great talent.. I was happy to hear this new album .. it's a return to form for Chris! .. earlier dreaming work wasn't as good in my opinion

@judesama1 Search for Henry Rollins on Rave and Modern Rock on this site. It's gospel as to what is wrong with the music world.

why is all the good music like this is shadowed by bullshit rap and stupid ass singers from american idol??? Chris hall has a vocal quality that puts him above everyone i have heard, to top it off, his lyrics kick your ass, even if your not depressed, they are very heart felt. much more than anything thats popular right now.
