This remastered version is from the "Perception" box set by The Doors.
Perception is a fortieth anniversary edition twelve disc box set by The Doors. The CDs contain the 1999 remastered editions of all the Jim Morrison albums, while the DVD-AUDIO discs contain new (2006) "40th Anniversary" remixes of them. Each album includes extra tracks consisting of previously unreleased session outtakes. Exclusive to the box set is a DVD-AUDIO disc with several live performances and other extras.

Wonderful! They adjusted the speed and thus the tuning which now is a normal standard one. I wondeor why they slowed it down back in the days, resulting in the entire record sounding (almost) half a tone lower... I've read and watched lots of interviews where the doors and Botnick discuss the recording of the LP talking about how they used a 4 track recorder (!) and did it in just 6 days (!!!) or the unusual decision to record guitar and organ on the right channel and bass on the left one, but they never mention the fact the record is out of tune because of a slowing down...9 years ago
