For sure this is a badass song in how it's expressed. I like the beat and the message is interesting and can be interpreted in various ways. He was releasing his emotions in lyrics which is cool and he did it in such a creative way. Excellent, as the song is a pleasure to hear. It's too bad someone suffered firsthand in such a way. I like that he compares himself to Mary. Within self is both ying and yang, male and feminine expressions of self. Strength and weaknesses, it's all about balance. Balance within self for mind, body and spiritual renewal.

I don't think y'all realize this song is about a son being sexually abused by his father. The sound was badass for the scene, but I'm not entirely sure why they chose this song. Yes I agree the lyrics can somewhat be portrayed to Dean's situation, but this song was played for the shifter, not Dean. The shifter is the freak. I hate John as much as the next guy but he didn't sexually abuse Sam or Dean.
