If you don't think Irish rebel songs can be "catchy, and upbeat" then you haven't heard "The Fenian Record Player" and "Me Oul Alarm Clock".. as for romantic ballads, there are none better than "Grace" and also "Broad Black Brimmer" Some of the best music I've ever heard.

I was wondering the same thing. I bought "50 Irish Rebel Songs" by The Davitts and fell in love with the band.. these guys sound similar to them but it's hard to tell for sure.
