Andy Anderson, as you know, was fired from the band for his poor behavior, which climaxed during one of their Australian dates when he trashed his hotel room and whacked some of The Cure and their security guards. He was initially replaced by Vince Ely of The Psychedelic Furs, but he had to commit to writing radio jingles during their U.S. tour so he was again replaced, this time by Boris Williams who had by then contributed to The Thompson Twins.
