Wow the bassline is a bit busier. Before the first verse and after the chorus especially. Or actually copying the guitar for the latter. There's a slide too in the chorus that is not there in any later version. And there's little transitions/fills that are not in later versions. Obviously Simon was told to make it simpler on recording.Funny cause apparently the reason they go rid of Dempsey was because his basslines were too busy. I guess Simon hadn't got the memo yet.....
