first saw the Cure in Dec 81 and I still love their 1st LP, not a fan of their stuff after the 3rd LP but at the time of this tune they were brilliant

When Good Lyrics Go BadThis morning as I was waking TFL he asked "what time is it?"And the answer that came to my lips was "10:15 on a Saturday night"and I earwormed myself.

This is a 20 years old classic that I used to listen to as a teenage. I wonder what "classics" my kids will listen in 20 years from now. Rihanna ? I have my doubts

Your #postpunk song today is from The Cure. You knew they'd show up at some point - like a bad penny, they are (a delightful bad penny I'm always glad to see).We had our great neighbors over for dinner last night, which means lots of lovely leftovers! I'm going to go consume the rest of the mixed berry crumble for second breakfast and put vanilla whipped cream in my coffee before I start working.

I think Eminem stole the guitar riff for his "Lose yourself" song. Listen to '35 on this song of the Cure...

Every album has at least one good song on it , to me this was it , and usually these songs are very rare and they end up being timeless , these songs are fated to be over looked because of the other songs surrounding it , but I see each one , people are like that sometimes you have to take them out of context to understand them , then there are some people who will never get it, whats really important and what doesn't matter , they cant see what youre trying to show them , there are two realities , but only one is real .
