Lyrics below. From Hayley Westenra's CD, My Gift to You. The slideshow is timed to go with the music. Sound quality isn't the best and is definitely much better on her CD. This is her older version of this song from several years back. She has a new Christmas CD, Winter Magic, recently released, which also contains this song. There is some GIMPing on a handful of pictures. I don't own the pictures; they were found on the Internet. I hope you enjoy it!
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa's on his way;
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother's child is going to spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.
And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways,
A very Merry Christmas to you.
