@subgeta07 companies DON'T get any payment in anyway from youtube. they actually pay it for advertising their product/business! it costs $1.6 billion to run youtube, you want to start paying that? let business's do it Everybody needs money! Youtube actually sends people checks if they got over 100,000 views, so they're technically giving the money back,so maybe if you upload a video which gets more than 100 views then you can get compensation from that 4 seconds of life youtube has 'taken away'

@dawsaurus Grow up, kid. No one'll to respect your opinion when you end a decent post with 'little bitch'. And I own a business. I understand how they work. I also understand they fuck you. Why is it, even with credits given etc, and if I only use like, ten seconds of a song or episode, my video can still be blocked in certain countries, or even all together? I thought that's one reason why the ads were there--so the companies get some sort of 'payment' for letting their stuff be aired here?

@dawsaurus It's not that we have ads. I get and understand that. It's how annoying some of them are. And since someone mentioned it, I know we can skip most of them. It'd be nice if we could skip all of them. My biggest issue isn't really the ads--it's the censoring.

@subgeta07 they're not trying to take it away, there has always been ads on youtube, it's just recently youtube has needed more money, so they do an add before a video, which you can usually skip through. youtube helps you in SO many ways, and you can't even repay it by watching a 4 second video, stop being a whiny little bitch.

@subgeta07 @QueenBeePig Remember how you can scroll down below the ad on your homepage? Remember how youtube needs money to keep running? Remember how there are sites for converting videos into mp3 files? Remember how you can just say "I dont own it" Remember how there are billions of videos FROM normal users? Youtube is a buisness, yes. They need the money to keep improving and to pay employees. You aren't starting a revolt against a multibillion dollar company by posting a comment.
