The Chimes were a dance/freestyle trio based in Scotland. They had three songs make the Top 10 in 1990 on the Billboard Dances Singles chart; the #1 hits "1-2-3" and "Heaven", and the #34 hit "True Love/Stronger Together". They charted four times on the Billboard Soul/R&B chart; the aformentioned "!-2-3" which missed the Top 40, peaking at #41, "Heaven" (#54), their dance cover U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" (#47), and the also mentioned "True Love" (#65). "1-2-3" was their only Hot 100 entry, which only got as high as #86. It also made the Cash Box Top 100 chart, peaking at #82.
