Check out Bob Spicard's "Dale Velzy Tribute Stratocaster". it's made of basswood with koa wood stringers. Velzy's widow Fran donated two Velzy logo laminates along with a signature laminate that Dale signed before passing away. Ron at "Waterman's Guild" resin finished and polished the body just as you would a classic balsa era board. It is a one of a kind Strat.
