The Casualties are fantastic! I'm glad they are making money, they deserve every penny of it. But when I see all the adds in fashion magazines for punk style clothing costing over $10,000 for a leather jacket or skirt, it makes me sick. Punk clothes are for the rich now, as far as I can see. To me it just weakens punks effect on society. Like a mockery of punk....

i just meant you tried to define punk by saying that punk is free and always should be, and for the poor, and when people start making money, that they aren't punk. That's kind of defining punk. i don't believe in all these definitions. I just realize when i go to a punk show, everyone is united and having fun. i love punk rock, and all. Im not trying to define punk, im talking about my own opinions here. Your the one who's defining punk here as you just mention. Something you shouldnt do. One person cant claim to know everything about a group of people because everyone is different and will have different interpretation. I do wish to implement some of my views to other people sometime, the fact that im here talking to you shows it. And now that I said it, I dont have much more to say about the subject.

I don't base punk rock on how popular it is. just because a band gets popular, doesn't mean they sold out. that's what pisses me off. For example, NOFX, they may not be street punk, but have managed to make it huge and have a gold album, with NO help from press whatsoever.
