Cars are probably the best New Wave band there was, Blondie maybe, but really great stuff for what was really a pop band.

I have six words to describe The Cars: MOST UNDERRATED BAND OF ALL TIME!!!!!!! I can not believe they were not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's really heartbreaking.

Hardest-sounding track on Panorama and one of their best songs! Thank you for posting this!

Oh, yeah, the Cars always knew how to END an album! This one and "Door to Door" end with a bang - same chord, even, a B - but most of them repeat and fade out, like "All Mixed Up", "Dangerous Type", "Maybe Baby", etc.

"Under the cold and darkly sky" was such a great lyric, Ric used it again at the beginning of "Take a Walk" from his solo album Beatitude. I started to outline a book about the Cars, and that was gonna be the title.

Your comment made me realize, this song is like a progressive song, only condensed. The prechorus is completely different from the verse, and then the chorus is completely different from that! It sounds like they actually used different guitars in the different sections. Stretch this song out, slow it down, add more solos, maybe some tempo changes, and you've got some epic by Yes or Pink Floyd or Rush or somebody like that. I like it better this way, though!

Damn, I would have loved to have seen that. Troublizing was a minor masterpiece that renewed my interest in Ric's solo career after two albums that didn't really grab me at all. Beatitude and This Side of Paradise were fucking awesome. This song must sound awesome live.

This is possibly my favorite song from my favorite Cars album! I love the synth that keeps going B-B-B-A, B-B-B-A, even after the guitars change from B to G. And Elliot's solo is ... ALMOST playable!

This LP showed a bit of range that the boppers couldn't grasp. Definitely in the top three.

This LP was VERY disappointing when it came out (following their first two blockbusters) and it stiffed. This was the best cut, I agree.
