Each guy had his own individual talent and style which together made them so great, take one away and you could just feel the hole in the band. Poor Ben, don't smoke, smoking increases your chances of pancreatic cancer by 50%!!! That's almost suicide! Patrick Swazye, Benn Orr, etc. What we didn't know did kill us!

in my day one thing you never heard was "what is this shit they play on the radio"Radio was awesome back in the 80's and even some of the 90's but somewhere late in 1998-99 and then in to the 2000's radio died. its all shit being played on radio now, no good songs like this one.unfortunately we only have ourselves to blame, once ipod's and you tube came out we fucked ourselves hard.music became an on demand thing where you could play any song you ever wanted in a blink on an eye.I remember when I was a kid waiting by the radio for hours waiting for that great song to come on so I could hit the record button on my tape player :-) it was great. I know I sound like an old fuck saying things like this but its true.

I'd like to comment here, but it's would only be an echo of all the other great commenters here, minus the 8 dickheads. Benjamin Orr was an awesome singer and bass player. The Cars would have never gotten out of the garage without him. Someone here said he was underrated, I have to agree. This is all great stuff that we see and share here on Youtube, takes me right back to highschool. I hope you all are having a great day, wherever you are!
