Ah Pete. A common mistake. Long Gone Before Daylight is a classic. Buy it and you will change your mind. Makes this stuff seem like kids playing, as good as that may be.

I wouldn't say they "suck ass." They definitely did change since the 90's. They seemed to have conformed to an extent to the norms of the current musical trends. Yea, this is unfortunate. But they need to please the shallow crowd, somehow.

Not really. They just don't like it. I mean if they hate their own work thats their business. If the fans respect their desires as a band then everything is kosher (newer stuff and old is very different)
