Watch out what you say

Only in my way

I'm gonna get that girl

Wait and see

I saw her today

She came by my way

I'm gonna win her love

Just for me

And together we'll go walkin'

In the evenin' still be talkin'

She's the kind of girl you never

Always see

Have you seen her eyes

Do you realize

How much a love like that can mean to me

I know, she knows me

Today I could see

The way she held her head when she walked by

And before the night is over

I think, I'm gonna love her

And if it lasts forever, I don't care

And now she is mine

I told you all the time

How could I let a girl like that go by

And before the night is over

I think, I'm gonna love her

And if it lasts forever, I don't care

Yo there captain soul !! I happen to LIKE this song and as it was,I bought this and Turn,Turn,Turn many years before I knew anything about the story of the Byrds,I STILL like it. I agree with you on the other turkeys that belong in a "Worst Greatest Non Hits" album.

It's a good song. And actually, it makes even more sense it context-- a song called "The Times they are a-changin'" is immediately followed with "Wait and See". See?

I've always enjoyed the 12-string Rickenbacker sound and SuperByrd Jim McGuinn gave it its own life. It is always stressed out that Jim used a three-finger technique for the picks. Thanks.

It may not be the best Byrds song but how to resist to these chiming guitars and vocal harmonies?

Yep, it kind of pisses me off that this tripe was included on the album in place of a marvelous song like "She Don't Care About Time." Simple, unoriginal, boring lyrics, a dull melody, and off key singing over not one, but two more interesting, lyrically complex, and more melodically pleasing selections by Clark? All because of jealousy, greed, and egomania? Pretty pathetic, no wonder Clark wanted to get the hell out.

Ive made up a cd which ive titled Byrds Turkeys....this is track one......also incudes Moog Raga....Lear Jet Song....Hey Joe....Lay Lady Lay...Tunnel Of Love....Citizen Kane...Dont Make Waves etc....but worst of is the dreadful BB Class Road....when listened to in one sitting its a very strange album indeed....not without its merits....well it is the Byrds Jim

The only reason this song made it onto the album was because it was written by McGuinn and Crosby, who had a real problem with Gene Clark making more money than them. That's why 'The Day Walk' and 'She Don't Care About Time' were left off the album. And it was because of this pettiness and greed that the album was nowhere near as great as it could have been.

this, to me, is one of the top 10 worst byrds songs... at least, from the 1964-1968 period. after that i don't pay much attention. however, i know "chestnut mare" would top the list if it encompassed the band's entire career.
