Well if you think she's everything you could want

And if you think she's everything that could be

Well I still think the world turns all around her

And I still wish that she belonged to me

I don't know how I ever could thought that

I'd let her go and still be just the same

Well I found out my world turned all around her

And every where I go I hear her name

Somewhere along the way I don't know why

I thought that I would want to let her go

But now whenever I see her with you I

Realize how much I didn't know

So if you tell her everyday you love her

And if you tell her everything she could be

You'll find out that your world will turn around her

You'll feel the same if you should set her free

I still think this is one of the greatest of all the great Byrds tunes and of course they were the greatest all-time American band EVER! This should have been #1, but then so should have "Here Without You," and "Set You Free This Time." Why are all the Beatles' album cuts known to everyone when even the so-called "cognoscenti" are only aware of the Byrds tunes played on the radio? And how is it that someone like Guy Clark is more well known than the immortal Gene Clark? Some kinda world we live in!

Is this a duet between Clark and McGuinn?

Yup. And while we're at it, bow down to David Crosby for one of his most transcendent high harmony parts.

Beatlesque! But then again, wasn't "If I Needed Someone" Byrdsish? For a moment there in late '65 America and Britain overlapped (BOTH regarding to style and quality!)

I like McGuinn's slightly out of tune Rickenbacker LOL! But I love this album...

What great music.

This is better than half the songs on Rubber Soul... Notwithstanding the American accents it would have fitted very well on that album

Props to Gene Clark. Also, props to David Crosby for his amazing vocal harmony contribution (as always)!

For My Barbra Rose in Heaven (since Nov. 2010). Now that you are in Heaven, this world turns around in your sweet and loving hands. Watch over me, My Eternal Love, until we are reunited in Heaven. I miss you beyond words. I love you beyond Space/Time.

@robertwitte92, the fellows from The Byrds were simply TRUE musicians. No band ever sounded like them nor ever would.
