It's easy to explain. With Canada being so multi-cultured, equal rights and all, so many religions now, "Happy Holidays" suits everybody where as "Merry Christmas" is for christians only. Beautiful song and very well sung =)

The Gaither Vocal Band has an excellent song they sing (Guy Penrod) called "Mary Did You Know?" It is so wonderful and contains the words she heard from his torturers..."He was Just a Man" I think now over 2,000 years people realize ...NO! He was not just a man.....I hope and pray our children and grandchildren will know this (mine do) and on U-Tube there is an excellent video called If they don't say Merry Christmas in the window....then you walk right by their store. Says it all for me.

I agree with the three people who put down their comments. As one said..."they are my refuge"I listen to them every night and pray for a better life for my grandchildren then the world appears now. I think we should just get back to the basics of life...:) And in Canada where I live (B.C.), they do not allow anyone in stores to say Merry Christmas,,,no Merry Christmas ,,,,,only Happy Holidays....I wonder how they would explain the word Christmas.......who was Christ?

903...: Perhaps that's because today's artists (artists?) lack the cachet of sincerity to sing it. It's too bad. We've lost a lot. I'm grateful for the old songs; they are a refuge from the harshness all around us today. Who ever thought, for example, that standard Christmas music would become politically incorrect. What a world. Thanks You Tube!

The browns are amazing!! Any song they sang was Beautiful. The harmony they had was wonderful, too bad they no longer record. This is the kind of music we need today, not the trash that is recorded in the name of music. Thank you for this video and THANK YOU to The Browns for singing!!!!
