I just watched the last episode last week of "Boardwalk Empire", the best show ever, and coming up with the music for that show had to be one of the most fun jobs in the world. How cool are The Boswell Sisters?

I fell in love with the Bosies in 1971 when I moved to NYC from SC. I was so homesick! In the old Colony Record Store I saw "Nothing was Sweeter than You" lp. They reminded me of my mom and her sisters from their teen years. While painting my kitchen, I had the lp on my player and had the most fun ever that afternoon.

I wasn't around back then, but in spite of everything else, these performers had a lot of class, and delivered much more then their job description (My job description, a common modern day affliction), and these young ladies are a lot more appealing than the overrated stars of today. Also sounds better with less electronics and computers doing all the work. Elders from work and around home tell me you had to be the best, one audition, or one chance to show you job skills. Thank you for songs
