Hand me down a strong panacea,

One that's guaranteed to make me feel like Hercules,

There's flies everywhere, buzzing in the air,

Filling my body with filth and disease....and I think,

He thinks he should develop a complex,

He thinks that he really owes it to himself,

His friends'll all say he's looking sick and unhealthy

An' then he can wallow in sweet self-neglect

Oh oh yeah...he's gonna

Lock himself up in his room

Shutter the windows and bolt all the doors,

Wrap himself round in his Wall Street cocoon

He's painting the ceiling, the walls and the floor,

He's gonna lock himself up in his room

And when he emerges have a new change of style,

He keeps saying things like it's me and Howard Hughes

You'd wana watch out for that dangerous smile.

Oh, oh yeah....

Wow what memories this brings back. TONIC and SURFACING were two great albums of all time for me. Saw them first time live on 31 March 1980 in Winnipeg Canada on the Surfacing world tour - Just Great! Then a year or two later in Calgary Alberta and actually met the band twice. Geldof was so larger than life to me at the time and Fingers was just wild looking in the pyjamas!

I have to agree too. Tonic and Fine Art were awesome. My brother and I did have V deep and Mondo Bongo but years later I remember nothing from those two.

David lucky you I've been into them since the 70's my older brother had been into them right from the 1st single. I'm going to see Bob play anyway he's doing a gig here(Dublin) in October/November. Great band very underrated
