I know that most of us from the Detroit area grew understanding that the original GARAGE/PUNK was spawned nurtured and evolved from the grounds on which we once played Punk being inspired by the oppression of the 4 wheel, Henry Ford industrial robotic abuse of humans, juxtaposed to the filthy wealth of the chosen few capitalist pigs, sorry, my apologies as the Irish got a hold of me, with this in mind it ha been my observation that this gem by Mr Seger in my jaded opinion is in fact the template for what was to become the Punk revolution !Any objection, as I'm sure to here, then all I ask is that you first put on your headphones, follow the message closely than, with out doubt dare your self to reconfigure in your mind why Punk was not only a musical expression but a philosophical struggle between deception and reality !So as to Quote a lyric that is indelibly imprinted on the tuned in, " KICKOUTTHEJAMSMOTHERFUCKERS !

I was a Jr in H.S. when this album came out... My draft number was a dismal 56 and I knew I would go.....so 2 + 2 was on my mind! Also the Doors "Five to One" both epic Vietnam Era songs. Happy to have survived and still have my ears to listen to these classics... Peace Out to All!
