Well...this is pure music. If you can't feel the power in it, you are what is wrong with the world. Or at least part of of it. Or just Holy Yuck this is good $hit.

@tyronebigs2209 i think ive seen him using a lot of super reverbs around this time, any cranked fender amp and a fuzz will get the job done, i use a tweed blues jr cranked all the way w/ no pedal and it sounds great

@SmokeRingHalos where did you get the clone, or how would i go about making one?

@tyronebigs2209 a tele, small tube fender amp (preferably tweed) or some kind of vintage amp, and a fuzz pedal. Around this time he used a tele into a cranked vintage ampeg gemini amp, while using a vintage maestro MFZ-1 fuzz pedal. At home I use a tele into my 60s silvertone1482 amp with a boutique maestro mfz-1 clone and get it pretty much spot on. a tele and fuzz through my brother's little tweed fender pro junior amp also gets some of auerbach's tones spot on as well.

He does not use any picks in his blues playing, just thumb and finger, the pads of the finger, i've seen him live and its just traditional BLACK blues playing, not country and western white boy blues style

Rolling Stone's a rag. They never included Dan Auerbach on their 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. He could've been at least #100. They also failed to include Tommy Immanuel. Yet Kurt Cobain made the list as #12? I like Nirvana, but Kurt was more influential guitarist style-wise than actually a "greatest guitarist of all time." RS Mag? Complete idiots.
