Words of Love is a great tribute to one of the Beatle's idols, Buddy Holly. There is some debate on the guitar that George used on this song. Between the two most likely choices, the Rickenbacker 360/12 and the Gretsch Tennessean, I believe it was the Gretsch. I do not hear the octave of the Ric, and the Gretsch seemed to hit the nail on the head. I also believe that the lead guitar was double tracked, which could cause some to believe it was the 12 string.
