What? So this song ISN'T about a simple farm yard?? Hahaha! Its interesting though, one quote I read about this song, that I found strangely curious, was that Piggies was, ''The only song that Charles Manson never got catastrophically wrong!'' Having read apocalyptic messages into Helter Skelter.... And hearing the supposed cries of, ''Rise! Rise!'' buried somewhere within the weirdness of Revolution 9.... Manson was pretty clear, in his understanding of this vocal attack on ''corporate pigs.'' However, as we know from history, this proved to be fatal, following the infamous ''Manson Family Murders.'' He was quoted as saying something to the effect of, ''I didn't write it! Its The Beatles who are behind all this.'' Although rich in creativity & diversity, The White Album is still darkest Beatles album. Not solely for having the Manson Murders shadow cast over it, but just in general. If you think of the contrast between this, and the technacolour, psychedelic, peace & love vibes of Sgt Pepper, that came just one year before... The difference is vast! It could possibly echo the fractures which had started to appear within the group themselves by this time, & the difference in opinions that where starting to divide the four band members that had always been a single unit before. While Sgt Pepper perfectly reflects 1967, the ''Sumer Of Love,'' & total positivity.... The white album perfectly reflect the world in 1968, with race riots, the Vietnam war ect.... Harder, & uncertain

Another little gem and more appropriate than ever. Great harpsichord groove. Funny - The Beatles just dabble with Medieval Rock and Jethro Tull makes a whole career out of it.

I love this song. And all the drugs they took before writing it.
