This is an interview that occurred just days after the boys' triumphant success at Shea. Unfortunately, this press conference was edited in some parts on my DVD, so I've included a link to the complete transcript here:

Also, at this time, the boys had a "run in" with local police authorities over their city ordinances, which you'll see in the closing footage.

hahahaha at 4:30 the cop tells how paul had a chick in his motel room after midnight and the cops made her leave...many dont know..BUT...paul was a major horn dog...he fucked hundreds of chicks...but he never talked about it...and most think of him as a married family man type...which he is..but when he was a single beatle....he fucked and fucked so many chicks...even when engaged to jane asher...so this is a fact about paul that he has kept secret

Were these girls under aged or what? Was it illegal to have an adult woman, by her own choice, visit you in your hotel room such that the police thought they might have to break the door down and enter your room?

I was hoping during the interview that one of them would ask the cop standing to the side of them why he had his club out. 1965 and most of those years back then had to be a mental hell to live through. The ignorance, the acceptance of it and even the encouragement of it is difficult to watch.

I understand they were just doing their job, but he didn't have to be a cocklicker about it. 'ts faggots like him that give the city a name like The Anti-Semitic capital of the US...kinda makes me ashamed to be a Minnesotan. Good thing MN's changes since then.

They should have done their research of how conservative Minneapolis was.

"We'd never start are own label, it's too much trouble". They should have stuck to that and never started Apple.

George seems genuinely concerned that Rickenbacker guitars were put out giving him a guitar. "Thanks, but you shouldn't have done it". That's some amazing modesty.

I saw them at the old Met open stadium when I was the young age of 8 years old, but I will never forget that amazing event.....I love you George!!!!!!!!

The schools in Minnesota required males to have hair above the ears, sideburns even with the top of the ears, no blue jeans only dress pants, no tennis shoes just dress shoes, belt was mandatory, shirts were to be tucked in at all times. Females wore skirts or dresses, no tennis shoes, no make-up until 16, and on and on it went.

The girl in Paul's room was 22 years old, and when the cops found out they had already made idiots of themselves so they wouldn't back down. This was simply the morality police thumping on their sticks looking for trouble. Captain William Manhke left after the riots of 68.

Thanks for sharing! Definitely one of the better press conferences! The irony with Lennon's comment at 1:13 !
