Fountainhead70 From the early days of Friends Again. Went to the same school as Chris. Maybe 8 or 9 years younger. He came to a band practice one night and played my guitar and tried to help us with our music. We walked a long walk home that night and I picked his brain for whatever I could, as I thought that may be my future. He obliged, so kindly, and I made a friend that night. I wish his talent was better used over the years. Such a talented singer and writer

Amazing to see the high regard The Bathers are held in! I once wrote to Chris Thomson just to let him know how what his music meant to me, he wrote back & told me of a gig in Glasgow. I lived in Manchester but I got 2nd row & witnessed possibly the most amazing gig of my life at The Mitchell Library Theatre (Lagoon Blues era). I was lucky enough to meet Chris after the gig, he's a genuinely nice guy & so down to earth. The man is a genius.

@Orpheusbeach Try & Check out the original band who were called Friends Again if you can find them, some wonderful underappreciated ( spellcheck?) music, "Honey at the Core" " State of Art" takes me back to College in the 80"s !
