Thanks for posting. I'd forgotten how great this track is. Just gone to check where it's from in my record collection and it's on Pebbles Vol.9.
It says it was also covered by the Endd as the A-side to their mighty "Out Of My Hands" !!
I love the bit near the end where it goes quiet then it's "C'MON NOW !!!!" and the Faine Jade guitar blasts in again to the end. Yeah.

I liked yours views & writing.I used the words (Brits assholes) to emphasize the great value of THE BANSHEES.I m not a racist.I dont hate people.I just love music. These are (in my opinion) the 37 BEST songs written in the 60s.DIG & YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!! DEDICATED TO ALL THE BRITS.------1) HEADSTONES (24 hours everyday) 2) MIKE REYNOLDS & INFANTS OF SOUL(when will i find her) 3) JESTERS OF NEWPORT(stormy) 4)COLONY(all i want) 5)EXPRESS(you gotta understand) 6)

the sex pistols didnt create punk n r 3rd rate,i dont like 2days punk its predictable n largely talentless,2days bands play the fame game they r on the whole educated by radio n will do anything 4 fame which in truth makes music mean nothing today because the lyrics mean nothing n the musicianship is 3rd rate n totally predictable,im stayin in the 60s deep deep undercover where everything means everthing n skill n passion with tru creativity produced the best music in history,

chocolate soup for diabetics vol 1 to 3 has some of the better uk underground offerings, the yardbirds 4 me lacked the authentic rawness n guts i seek, but many usa bands refined n toughened their tunes n i like that, same in funk many bands refined n toughened jbs sound n its the best funk ever laid 2 wax,4 me the industry have abused what music can n should b,music is a gift originality is a key factor in musics progression, but we get fakes instead of the real deal that lives 4 music

im a brit i agree with most of yr comments about our bands, for me 1 of the best lps was piper at the gates of dawn in mono, after that yr looking at rarer offerings on 45 2 find anything that mixes it with the usa bands rawness n grit,i did like a few pretty things tunes in the 60s,the factory a path thru the forest had grit n obviously hendrix, the beatles n stones bore me,fred mcdowell n skip james show us what blues is n pipers makes sgt peppers sound like predictable pop n not original

Been looking for a very rare freak beat group called "Confuscious and the confused catfish from cornwall". I think they only released 3 singles but were legendary for their outrageous shows. I can't find any info anywhere about them so any help would be appreciated. Cheers
