Ending 2014 on a high note, The Babys, who released their first new album in 30 years this past summer, hit #9 this week on the Billboard Hot Single Sales chart with “I See You There.”

The Babys’ 2014 release I’ll Have Some Of That (Skyrocket Ent. / All In Time Records), which received much critical praise, was a return to form of the band’s melodic rock radio sound. The band features original members Wally Stocker (lead guitar) and Tony Brock (drums) joined by new members John Bisaha (lead vocals/bass) and Joey Sykes (guitar).

This video was shot at Tony Brock's Silver Dreams Studios - where The Babys recorded the album - "I'll Have Some of That!".

A quality song that definately establishes The Babys once more on the rock music scene. I'll be looking forward to their June 27th Sellersville, Pa., show. It should be great if this new tune is any sign!

Is John still touring as a solo artist? This gent is the new vocalist, correct? I was thinking about John's version of "Ain't No Sunshine" from "Temple Bar", and started looking up The Babys songs from the 70s, which are so great!!!

Not bad at all. They should promote this to the country music arena. It's very "modern country" don't you agree?

Saw the newer band at the Lido Theater in Newport Beach 1/31/14 last night! It was the kick off an international tour. If you liked them with John Waite who still comes to the Coach House in SJC my home town every year or two YOU WILL LIKE THE NEW JOHN. Always a great band playing all their great songs. The audience roared and loved them, even the new tunes. You won't be disappointed!

Good to see Tony & Wally back but sadly NOT "the Babys" without Waite & Corby. John Waite sings with such passion and edge, this guy while isn't a bad singer he is just a poor imitation....you just can't go back sometimes....

There's nothing bad about this song, neither the performance nor the way it is conceived, only it hasn't the melody with an edge that is the Baby's trademark, something you won't expect during the song but it happens wonderfully; it could be a vocal trick or a change in the melody or even an harder sound but here, sorry, there isn't...Look to hearing the rest of the album

Are there two identical twins in the group? The guitarist and drummer look exactly the same.

Love The Babys and have all their albums including this one. I don't get the billboard chart thing however. I looked at the top 100 and they are nowhere to be found. I looked on ITunes singles charts and nothing. The only "single" type sales now is digital as there are no 45's or cassette singles or even few CD singles any more so it has to be digital. What am I missing?

Too soft, too pop. I don't like it.

Welcome back to The Babys...a classic act of the seventies/eighties and one that I've been digging since those days. Rock on, gents.
