I have posted this on other vids of the Baby's. I cannot understand why they were no bigger than they were especially in North America. Such an under rated band.

Group way ahead of their time. Very under rated British act that should have received far more recognition and accolades than they did. This song is totally indicative of what I am on about. High class act The Babys folks.

I've been thinking a lot about how gifted this group is. The anthem like quality of the closing 3 and a half minutes is indicative of the musical leadership of Michael Corby. The Babys never produced instrumental strength like this after Golden Mile. It was supposed to be an instrumental group as far as I could see. Waite's brutal lyrical honesty and haunting voice was emerging as a force to be reckoned with, whether he needed a solo platform to deal with this is a source of endless debate. So, all in all, the loss of Mike Corby to mainstream music meant that we had to endure plastic music from that time on, everywhere. You don't banish the greatest living musician and not pay a price for it.

@jowaitedotcom Hi Jo Mr. Corby says It is Walt Stocker that plays the accoustic guitar at the end of Dying Man. Are you copying "Dying Man"? SC

This is one great song. Tremendous A minor chord progression at the end. The Babys at their best.

This song to me showed the potential greatness that this band possessed for years to come. Such a shame!

This is great music and so different from the radio hits. I wonder at the contrast between this serious music and the very good pop love songs I remember, that I have to put away for awhile after listening to them too much. Is this the music the group really wanted to play? Well I can never know the answer to that.
