When this song came out I was 10 years old, but already an AM radio addict since 1965. Back then nobody just handed their kids some cash to buy records. You would listen all day, praying to hear that ONE song you couldn't live without! For me, in early '68, this was that song. I thought it was what heaven must sound like. Forty-five years later, I still do.

I think this is a really slow burner record, The Association at their pinnacle from them times, I remember I would be in work or walking the dog just having some time, I would hear the song song in my mind, there are so many facets in there it was like a puzzle it took me ages to picture it

I was 17 when this song came out. This band was for my softer side. I was into harder rock, but these guys just harmonized and played such beautiful music I came to love their shit, too. I had been playin guitar since I was 13 and learned all their songs because the girls loved their songs. Anything to get laid, plus the songs were killer.
